The Draft Arts and Cultural Development Strategy is Ready for Your Review! Did We Get It Right?

Over the past year, the City has been working alongside the community to create Langford’s first formal Arts and Culture Strategy. Developed around meaningful public engagement and guidance from a Community Working Group, the strategy is now ready for your review and feedback through a community survey.

The Strategy sets a shared vision for arts and culture in the community, helping to position and celebrate Langford as an inclusive, diverse destination for the arts.

The Draft Arts and Culture Strategy outlines a vision that sets the path forward to become a creative city, integrating economic development, tourism, and supporting cultural experiences. It identifies a vision, values, and a roadmap on how to achieve four key objectives. The Draft Strategy was recently presented to Council on March 16 - click here for a recording of the presentation from 0:04 to 1:16.

As the last phase of public consultation, this survey is an opportunity for you to provide your input. The survey is open until end of day April 19, 2026. If you would like to provide open ended feedback about the draft Strategy, please send an email to Comms@Langford.ca

Thank you for your participation!

We’re growing a creative hub where artists and creatives are integral to our community, nurturing talent and welcoming new voices and fresh thinking.
