Arts and Culture Strategy Development
The City of Langford is creating an exciting new Arts and Culture Strategy. We’ve partnered with Patricia Huntsman Culture + Communication, a leading arts and culture consulting firm, to help shape this important plan guided by the community.
As one of Canada’s fastest-growing cities, Langford is in a unique position to celebrate creativity and diversity. This strategy will help us grow a strong, vibrant arts and culture scene, one that reflects who we are and welcomes everyone.
The plan will also support Langford’s economy and will guide how we support artists, host events, and create spaces that bring people together through creativity.
At the same time, we’re developing a Placemaking Strategy to create public spaces that are more inviting and inspiring. Both strategies will work together to shape the future of cultural development in Langford.
We want to hear from you! The community questionnaire is now live and will close end of day on September 14, 2025.
The Arts and Culture Strategy is expected to be complete by December 2025.
