2026 Budget Survey
Every year, the City of Langford adopts a Five-year Financial Plan (budget), as required by Provincial Legislation. This Plan reflects Council’s fiscal priorities and the complexity of maintaining and improving services for a growing city. Any time you drive down a road, visit a park or trail, attend a community event, or receive help from emergency services, you’re using a City service. These services are paid for in part by property taxes as well as other sources of revenue, such as permits, grants, and user fees.
Developing the budget is a complex multi-step process approached with the lens of building a safe, fiscally stable, connected, and resilient city for everyone, including future generations.
Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey. The City appreciates your time and contributions to the budget process.
